Black Farmer's Symposium - Shared screen with speaker view
Who can see your viewing activity?
Kathy I have tried to setup the closed caption just now is not seeming to come through
I was looking forward to this, but I've been pulled into a meeting. I hope to see the recording at a future date. Thank you.
I require captioning so will try to see this at a later date if it is captions. It gets turned on under "settings" on the zoom link we all see.
Heard on the radio recently that the state of Virginia's top industry is agriculture. Yeah!
Allan, please put your website address in the chat. Thanks.
How would you start growing microgreens at home?
Hey everybody. I am in the process of building my website and my social media presence. Once I have those up, I will definitely share it with Lawrence to share with you guys.
Is it possible to have an aquaponic
Virginia State University in Petersburg has a program for future black farmers.
Thanks. Is it possible to have a 'home-size' aquaponic farm?
How would you start growing microgreens at home? I would go get you some seeds from a big box store. The best would be peas & radishes.
Large corporations have taken over agriculture and displaced small farms over the past century. It is amazing to hear your stories of success against that landscape! What was the biggest challenge for you getting started or scaling up?
Small scale aquaponic would be areogardens that you could get at Walmart or target for about $80
The Nelson and Pade web site is helpful. Thanks.
Are aquaponically grown products identified on the packaging?
Thank you and good luck!!
