I used the recurring meeting in ZOOM for my summer ZOOM classes, and it worked out great. Students just went to the same place to join the meeting every time.I did have to enable ZOOM in Canvas, as Tim just showed.

An invitation should generate and you would have to send it out.

Will that meeting only show up for that class, or all classes?

I set up my meetings for the entire semester at once.

I found out last week that if you want to show a video while sharing your screen, you also have to check the box that says use computer audio. It's on the left bottom of the pop up box. Otherwise no one can hear the video.

You will receive a notice each day reminding you when the meeting starts.

Michele, that is a great post! That's one thing that isn't obvious when you use Zoom!

You need to do separate Zoom meetings for each class. That seems the easiest thing to do for me.

For advising appointments I make separate Zoom sessions with each student.

If you use the "share" video and choose publicly do you get a link to send to people? I've been uploading my saved videos to vimeo.

The people I need to share with aren't RCC students or employees.

Tim, with recurring meetings, is there still a way to find out the participants for each specific meeting? My list of participants over the summer just seemed to be the list of anyone who had attended any of the meetings.
